Legends Trading sells two routes to a simulated Master Account. Apprentice is a monthly subscription plus a one-time activation fee, with no evaluation consistency rule and a 1-day pass. Elite is a one-time fee with no activation fee, a 40% consistency rule and a 3-day minimum.

1. Legends Trading Verdict: Score, Pros, Cons & Who It Fits
Our Legends Trading review combines official program rules and pricing with feedback from traders. We examined the Apprentice evaluation, drawdown rules, activation fees, payout conditions, and account progression, then compared them with feedback on Trustpilot, Reddit, and trading forums. This helps show both how the program is structured and where traders may encounter challenges.
Overall, Legends Trading offers a low monthly entry price and a 90/10 profit split, but its activation fee, payout restrictions, and account rules deserve close attention. Therefore, Legends Trading may suit futures traders who want a low entry price, an EOD trailing max loss and no daily loss limit in evaluation, but it asks for patience at the payout stage.

Pros & Cons Analysis
Pros
- EOD trailing max loss, with no daily loss limit during evaluation
- Apprentice can pass in one day without an evaluation consistency rule
- Low entry costs with code H2T: from $35.40/month or $71.40 one-time
- Elite has no activation fee
- 90/10 profit split remains unchanged when moving to Live
Cons
- Payout eligibility depends on winning days, buffers or cycle targets, and consistency rules
- Per-payout caps limit withdrawals to $1,200-$2,500 for Apprentice and $800-$3,500 for Elite
- Elite Master accounts impose a $700-$3,000 daily loss limit
- Strict no-refund policy; Master Accounts cannot be reset
- News trading is restricted on Apprentice Master Accounts
Important: The 90/10 split applies to the payout Legends approves, not your total trading profit. Buffers, cycle targets, and payout caps determine how much profit you can withdraw. Section 7 explains this with a $50K account example.
1.2. Trustpilot Rating
Legends Trading holds a 3.9/5 TrustScore on Trustpilot from 230+ reviews, checked October 16, 2026.
Positive reviews praise its affordable accounts, straightforward trading experience, responsive customer support, and fast payouts. However, negative reviews raise concerns about payout restrictions, account closures, activation fees, and delays in resolving support issues. These complaints suggest that traders should understand the payout requirements, account rules, and activation costs before purchasing a challenge.

Public feedback on Legends Trading is mixed. The firm has a 3.9/5 Trustpilot rating from 230+ reviews. Reddit and forum users report positive experiences with payouts, affordable evaluations, and responsive support, while others raise concerns about payout conditions, contract restrictions, hedging rules, and account closures.
Overall, feedback highlights the importance of understanding the rules and how they are enforced.
1.3. Reddit and Trader Forums
Individual report: Payout and support experience. In one Reddit thread, a trader reported receiving a payout through Rise after meeting the firm’s trading-day and profit requirements. The trader also praised the speed of live chat support, although another user in the same discussion reported a dispute over payout eligibility linked to the payment card’s name.

Individual report: Contract restrictions and account closure. A trader said their evaluation account was closed after switching from a December micro gold contract to a December gold contract. The post also raised concerns about hedging rules, dashboard updates, and unexpected activation fees.

Forum posts are individual reports. They are not rule documentation. Confirm current contract restrictions, payout eligibility, and account-closure rules directly with Legends Trading before purchasing an evaluation.
1.4. Who Legends Trading Fits
Legends Trading fits futures traders who can meet payout consistency rules and accept withdrawal limits.
| Fits traders who | Weaker fit if you |
|---|---|
| Trade CME futures exclusively | Want to trade forex, crypto, or CFDs |
| Prefer EOD trailing max loss over intraday trailing | Want a one-time fee without recurring charges; Apprentice has monthly fees plus an activation fee |
| Want low entry costs with code | Need uncapped withdrawals |
| Can keep their best day within the 35–40% consistency limit | Rely on one or two outsized winning days |
| Can meet buffer or cycle-profit requirements before requesting payouts | Want unrestricted access to profits without additional payout conditions |
| Want up to five simulated Master Accounts | Need automated trading, overnight positions, or weekend holds |
2. What Is Legends Trading?

3. Legends Trading Discount Code & Pricing
The Apprentice program uses a monthly subscription during evaluation, plus a separate activation fee when you qualify for a Master Account. The Elite program requires a one-time evaluation fee with no activation fee. Compare the regular and discounted prices below to see which option fits your budget.

3.1. Discount Code and Prices
Use code H2T to get at least 15% off eligible Legends Trading Apprentice and Elite plans. During October, the promotion increases your discount to up to 45% off, saving you $26.55 per month on the $50K Apprentice plan or $53.55 on the $25K Elite plan.

| Program | Account Size | Regular Price | Price with code H2T | You Save |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | $50K | $59/month | $32.45/month | $26.55/month |
| Apprentice | $100K | $107/month | $58.85/month | $48.15/month |
| Apprentice | $150K | $138/month | $75.90/month | $62.10/month |

| Elite | $150K | $347 | $190.85 | $156.15 |
Apprentice prices are monthly. The activation fee is separate and paid once: $59 for $50K, $77 for $100K, and $89 for $150K. Elite requires a one-time fee and has no activation fee.

Affiliate Disclaimer: H2T Funding may earn a commission if you purchase a Legends Trading challenge through links on this page. This does not affect the price you pay or our review of the firm. We aim to provide accurate, up-to-date information to help you make an informed decision.
3.2. Apprentice vs. Elite
Apprentice has the lowest monthly price and a 1-day pass; Elite has no activation fee and allows twice the contracts at $50K.
| Feature | Apprentice | Elite |
|---|---|---|
| Payment model | Monthly subscription | One-time fee |
| Activation fee | $59 / $77 / $89 (50K / 100K / 150K) | None |
| Evaluation consistency | None | 40% |
| Minimum trading days | None: pass in 1 day | 3 trading days |
| Contract limit ($50K) | 2 minis / 20 micros | 4 minis / 40 micros |
| Max loss ($50K) | $2,000 EOD trailing | $2,200 EOD trailing |
| Reset fee ($50K) | $59 | $135 |
| Funded consistency | 35% | 40% |
| Funded daily loss limit | None | Yes: $1,200 at $50K |
| Best for | Lowest monthly price, 1-day pass | No activation fee, larger contract limit |

The monthly price is only part of the cost. Activation and reset fees change the total, which our prop firm fee structure guide breaks down.
3.3. Billing, Resets, and Refund Policy
Legends Trading has a strict no-refund policy, and cancelling a subscription permanently closes the account. The Terms state that refunds are not offered. The Help Center warns that a cancelled account cannot be restored.
For the Apprentice program, monthly subscription charges stop once the Master Account is activated, according to Legends Trading support. No further subscription charges apply after activation.
Legends support quoted these reset fees on October 15, 2026:
| Reset fee | $25K | $50K | $100K | $150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice evaluation | – | $59 | $107 | $138 |
| Elite evaluation | $107 | $135 | $204 | $312 |
- Master Accounts cannot be reset. If you exceed the EOD max loss on a Master Account, it is liquidated.
- Evaluation breach: Exceeding the EOD max loss disqualifies the evaluation. You must pay the applicable reset fee above to continue.

4. Legends Trading Trading Rules
Legends Trading uses an EOD trailing max loss and no daily loss limit in evaluation, with consistency rules that differ by plan.
Rules below are as of October 2026. Verify directly at the Legends Help Center before trading.
4.1. Rules by Account Size
| Plan | Size | Profit Target | EOD Max Loss | Max Contracts | Eval Consistency | Min Days |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | $50K | $3,000 | $2,000 | 2 / 20 | None | 1 |
| $100K | $6,000 | $3,000 | 4 / 40 | None | 1 | |
| $150K | $9,000 | $4,500 | 6 / 60 | None | 1 | |
| Elite | $25K | $1,500 | $1,250 | 2 / 20 | 40% | 3 |
| $50K | $2,700 | $2,200 | 4 / 40 | 40% | 3 | |
| $100K | $6,000 | $3,000 | 8 / 80 | 40% | 3 | |
| $150K | $9,000 | $4,500 | 12 / 120 | 40% | 3 |
4.2. Daily Loss Limit
Legends has no daily loss limit in evaluation, on either plan. Apprentice funded accounts have none either. Elite Master Accounts add one: $700 (25K), $1,200 (50K), $2,000 (100K) and $3,000 (150K). Hitting it locks the account for the rest of the day.
4.3. Drawdown
An EOD trailing max loss updates once a day from your end-of-day balance, so intraday peaks do not raise it. Legends moved Apprentice Master Accounts from intraday to EOD tracking in January 2026.
Example on a $50K Apprentice account with a $2,000 max loss: the floor starts at $48,000. A $51,000 close lifts it to $49,000. A spike to $51,500 that closes at $50,500 lifts it only to $48,500. Intraday trailing would count the $51,500 peak in real time. Exceeding the EOD max loss on a Master Account liquidates it.
4.4. Contract Limits
Contract limits depend on the account size and program. At $50K, the maximum is 2 minis / 20 micros for Apprentice and 4 minis / 40 micros for Elite. Limits apply separately to each account.
Master Accounts may qualify for higher contract limits under Legends Trading’s scaling plan. See Section 6.2 for the profit milestones and corresponding limits. Hedging is prohibited across accounts on the same profile (see Section 4.7).
4.5. Consistency Rule and Minimum Trading Days
Consistency caps your best day as a share of profit: Apprentice has none in evaluation and 35% on the Master Account, and Elite has 40% in evaluation and on Master.
- Apprentice: no evaluation consistency and no minimum days: you can pass in 1 day. On the Master Account, the best day must stay at or under 35% of the profit in the payout cycle.
- Elite: the largest day divided by total profit must stay at or under 40%. Legends’ example: total profit of $2,500 caps any single day at $1,000. On a $2,700 Elite target, the best day is capped at $1,080.
- Elite Master: the same 40% applies to each payout cycle. Legends’ example: $3,000 of cycle profit caps a day at $1,200.
- Reset after payout: consistency restarts after each payout.
- Minimum days: Elite evaluation requires at least 3 trading days. The 40% rule points the same way, because two days would put the larger one above 40%
Elite’s 40% rule may not suit every style. If you prefer to skip it, compare prop firms with no consistency rule.
4.6. Trading Hours and News Trading
Close all positions before the sector cutoff: 3:55 PM CT (4:55 PM ET) for most contracts. Overnight and weekend positions are not allowed. Traders who fail to liquidate are failed until they pay the reset fee or the subscription renews.
| Sector | Liquidation time (CT) |
|---|---|
| CME equity, CBOT equity, NYMEX, COMEX, bond and FX futures | 3:55 PM |
| CBOT agricultural (corn, wheat, soybeans, meal, oil) | 1:15 PM |
| CME livestock (lean hogs, live cattle) | 12:50 PM |
- News trading is allowed on Apprentice evaluation, Elite evaluation and Elite Master.
- Apprentice Master: trading is banned from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after Tier-1 releases (NFP, CPI, PPI, FOMC).
4.7. Hedging, Bots, Copy Trading, Inactivity
Legends prohibits hedging: opposing or offsetting positions in the same or similar product groups, including a long mini against a short micro, within one account or across accounts. Going long in one account and short in another at the same time is also banned. An account closed for hedging cannot be reactivated.
- Bots: automated trading is prohibited.
- Copy trading: allowed. Legends provides no support or software for it.
- Inactivity: the rule applies to every account except Apprentice evaluations. On Elite evaluations, place at least one trade every 20 trading days or 30 calendar days, whichever comes first.
Legends allows copy trading but gives no software or support. If copy trading is part of your plan, see prop firms that allow copy trading.
The Prohibited Conduct list also bans:
- Spoofing and other disruptive practices
- Hundreds of rapid trades to exploit queue position in simulation
- Exploiting the simulator’s lack of slippage
- Tight brackets or auto-breakeven that offset your own trades
- Trading an excessive or unrealistic number of contracts
- Circumventing geographical or technical restrictions
- Combining several people under one identity, or trading on behalf of others
Penalties are case by case: a warning, removal of the affected day, a reset, or permanent closure. Prohibited Conduct violations carry no reset fee.
5. Legends Trading Eligibility
5.1. Sanctions Policy
Legends does not publish a full list of restricted countries. It asks traders to check the U.S. Treasury OFAC sanctions list (ofac.treasury.gov) themselves, and eligibility is subject to sanctions and local laws. Circumventing geographical restrictions is prohibited conduct.
5.2. Note for U.S. Traders
Legends is U.S.-based and lists the United States as its home country. Legends support named no restricted U.S. state.

For a broader comparison of firms available to American traders, see our best prop firms for US traders guide.
5.3. Eligibility Requirements
Traders must be 18 or older, and KYC runs through Sumsub and Rise. You can hold up to 10 evaluation accounts and 5 Master Accounts at the same time.
6. Legends Trading Funded Accounts & Growth Plan
Passing an evaluation gives you a simulated Master Account, and you qualify for Live with any one of three conditions: 3 payouts on one Master Account, 5 payouts across accounts, or $30,000 in simulated payouts. Legends’ Risk Management Desk may also promote traders earlier at its discretion.
6.1. Master Simulation vs. Live Funded
| Feature | Master (Sim) | Live |
|---|---|---|
| Capital | Simulated | Live account through funding partners and a regulated, licensed brokerage |
| Payouts | 90/10, paid through Rise, processed in 2-5 business days | 90/10 stays the same; processed within 1-5 days |
| Initial funding | – | Master: $1,500 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,000. Elite Master: $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,500 / $5,000 (25K / 50K / 100K / 150K). Maximum $10,000 |
| Sim and Live together | – | Not allowed. Promotion forfeits all Sim accounts (Apprentice, Master, Elite Master) |
| How you get there | Pass Apprentice or Elite | 3 payouts on one account, 5 payouts across accounts, or $30,000 in simulated payouts |
If you fail a Live account, you enter the Roll-Back Program: 3 cycles of 5 sim-funded accounts (up to 15 Elite evaluation attempts), 2 required Roll-Back payouts and at least 25 winning days. After that you return to Live at 50% of normal funding.
6.2. Master Scaling and Account Growth
Legends Trading’s scaling plan applies only to Master Accounts, not Evaluation accounts. Contract limits increase as the account reaches higher realized-profit milestones. Once a milestone is reached, the higher limit remains available.
| Realized profit | $25K Master | $50K Master | $100K Master | $150K Master |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up to $700 / $1,000 | 1 mini / 10 micros | 2 minis / 20 micros | 3 minis / 30 micros | 3 minis / 30 micros |
| Above $700 / $1,000, up to $2,000 | 2 minis / 20 micros | 3 minis / 30 micros | 4 minis / 40 micros | 4 minis / 40 micros |
| Above $2,000, up to $3,000 | – | 4 minis / 40 micros | 5 minis / 50 micros | 7 minis / 70 micros |
| Above $3,000 | – | – | 8 minis / 80 micros | 12 minis / 120 micros |
Note: The profit thresholds differ by account size. The table follows the milestones shown in Legends Trading’s published scaling plan.
Account growth also depends on how many accounts you can hold. Legends Trading allows up to 10 Evaluation Accounts and 5 Master Accounts at a time, regardless of account size or type. Account sizes reach $150K, and Live funding is subject to a $10,000 cap. Moving to a Live account requires meeting the firm’s eligibility criteria and may result in the forfeiture of existing simulated accounts.
7. Legends Trading Payouts & Profit Split
Legends pays a 90/10 split on approved payouts, and you can request one any time once you meet the winning-day, buffer or cycle-target, and consistency conditions. The 90/10 applies to the approved payout, not to total profit.
7.1. Profit Split and Payout Caps
Apprentice Master (consistency 35% of cycle profit; no daily loss limit):
| Size | Winning Days | First-Cycle Target | Min Balance, First Payout | Later Cycles | Payout Cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $50K | 7 days of $200+ net | $3,000 | $53,000 | $2,000 | $1,200 |
| $100K | 7 days of $200+ net | $5,000 | $105,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 |
| $150K | 7 days of $200+ net | $7,500 | $157,500 | $4,500 | $2,500 |
Minimum payout is $1,000 for the first three payouts.
Elite Master (consistency 40% of cycle profit):
| Size | Winning Days | Buffer | Payout Cap | Daily Loss Limit | Split |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | 5 days of $100+ | $1,000 | $800 | $700 | 90/10 |
| $50K | 5 days of $150+ | $1,500 | $2,000 | $1,200 | 90/10 |
| $100K | 5 days of $200+ | $3,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | 90/10 |
| $150K | 5 days of $250+ | $3,500 | $3,500 | $3,000 | 90/10 |
Elite Master payouts also require profit above the buffer. Older Master Accounts follow a separate Legacy policy that this review does not cover. Worked examples (H2T calculations on the approved payout):
- Apprentice $50K: if Legends approves a $1,200 payout (the cap), you receive $1,080 and Legends keeps $120.
- Elite $50K: if Legends approves a $2,000 payout (the cap), you receive $1,800 and Legends keeps $200.
Your best day must also stay under the consistency cap. On $3,000 of Elite cycle profit, that is $1,200 (40%).
7.2. Payout Schedule and Processing
Requests go through the client dashboard, and Rise is the only payout method. KYC runs through Sumsub and Rise. Master payouts are processed in 2-5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Live payouts are processed within 1-5 days.
8. Legends Trading Data Connections and Trading Commissions
Legends Trading supports futures trading through Tradovate or Rithmic. Your data connection determines which platforms you can use.
8.1. Trading Platforms
| Connection | Platforms | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tradovate | Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView | Supports NinjaTrader |
| Rithmic | R|Trader and compatible third-party platforms | Bookmap and NinjaTrader are not supported |
Choose your data connection before purchasing an account. Check compatibility if you already use a specific platform.
8.2. Markets and Exchanges
Legends Trading offers CME Group futures across equity indices, energy, metals, bonds, agriculture, and livestock. Supported exchanges include CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX. Forex and cryptocurrency trading are not available.
Compare other futures funding programs in our guide to the best futures prop firms.
8.3. Data Connections and Trading Commissions
Every plan includes a data connection selected at checkout. Trading commissions are $0.39 per micro contract per side and $1.29 per standard contract per side, according to Legends Trading Support. Exchange and NFA fees are charged separately.
| Contract type | Per side | Round turn |
|---|---|---|
| Micro | $0.39 | $0.78 |
| Standard | $1.29 | $2.58 |
A round turn includes opening and closing a position. For example, one micro contract costs $0.78 in commission per round turn, excluding exchange and NFA fees. One standard contract costs $2.58.
Live accounts execute through a regulated, licensed brokerage.

10. Legends Trading vs. Apex, Tradeify, and My Funded Futures
Comparing these $50K futures accounts shows how Legends Trading stacks up on entry costs, drawdown limits, trading rules, and payout requirements. The comparison focuses on the Apprentice, Apex EOD, Tradeify Select Flex, and My Funded Futures Builder programs.
| Feature | Legends Apprentice | Apex EOD | Tradeify Select Flex | MFFU Builder |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation fee | $35.40/month with code | From $47.20 with code | $165 one-time | $153 list price |
| Activation fee | $59* | $129-$139 | $0 | $0 |
| Profit target | $3,000 | $3,000 | $3,000 | $3,000 |
| Evaluation drawdown | $2,000 EOD trailing | $2,000 EOD trailing | $2,000 EOD trailing | $2,000 EOD trailing |
| Daily loss limit | None | $1,000 | None | $1,000 soft pause |
| Minimum trading days | 1 | None | 3 | 1 |
| Evaluation consistency | None | None | 40% | None |
| Max contracts | 2 minis | 6 minis | 4 minis | 4 minis |
| Trader profit split | 90/10 | 100% under the cited payout policy | 90/10 | 80/20 |
| Payout conditions | 7 qualifying winning days | 5 qualifying days; safety net applies | 5 qualifying winning days | 2 qualifying days per cycle; buffer applies |
| Payout cap | $1,200* | Varies by payout number | $2,500 per payout* | $2,000 per cycle |
Data checked: October 18, 2026. Promotional prices and program rules may change.
Key Differences at $50K
- Legends Apprentice: The $35.40 monthly entry price is low, but the $59 activation fee and any extra evaluation months increase the total cost.
- Apex EOD: The code offer brings the evaluation fee to $47.20, but the activation fee increases the cost after passing. Its $1,000 daily loss limit, safety-net requirement, and qualifying payout days also matter despite the 100% payout split under the cited policy.
- Tradeify Select Flex: No activation fee or daily loss limit, but the evaluation has a 40% consistency rule. Funded payouts require five qualifying winning days, with a $2,500 cap for eligible purchase dates.
- My Funded Futures Builder: No evaluation consistency rule, but a $1,000 soft-pause daily loss limit applies. The 80/20 split, 50% funded consistency rule, required buffer, and $2,000 payout cap make withdrawal conditions important.
Overall, Legends has a low initial monthly cost, Apex offers a low promotional evaluation price but charges an activation fee, Tradeify avoids an activation fee, and MFFU Builder has a lower trader split with stricter funded payout conditions.

11. Legends Trading FAQ
-
Legends Trading operates as Legends Trading Group, Inc. in Calabasas, California, and its Terms have been effective since February 20, 2023. Trustpilot sits at 3.9/5 on about 230+ reviews, payouts run through Rise, and the Terms state a strict no-refund policy. H2T makes no claim about regulation.
-
Yes, on Elite: 3 trading days in evaluation. Apprentice has no minimum: you can pass in 1 day. After you pass, Apprentice Master payouts need 7 winning days of $200 or more, and Elite Master payouts need 5.
-
The split is 90/10 in your favor on the approved payout, and it stays the same when you move to Live.
-
Both plans suit beginners on price, but payout conditions need planning. Remember that fees are non-refundable, and keep your best day under the consistency cap.
For a broader comparison of beginner-friendly options, see our best prop firms for beginners guide.
-
No. Legends offers CME Group futures only.
-
Legends does not publish a full country list. It asks traders to check the OFAC sanctions list, and eligibility is subject to sanctions and local laws.
-
You can request a payout any time once you meet the conditions; Legends support confirms there is no fixed window. The homepage says “up to twice per month.” Master payouts are processed in 2-5 business days, and Live payouts within 1-5 days.
-
You receive a simulated Master Account, and Live follows 3 payouts on one account, 5 payouts across accounts, or $30,000 in simulated payouts. Sizes reach $150K, and you can hold up to 5 Master Accounts. Initial Live funding runs from $1,500 to $5,000, capped at $10,000, and moving to Live forfeits all Sim accounts.
-
No, not in evaluation, and not on Apprentice funded accounts. Elite Master Accounts have one: $700 to $3,000 by size, and hitting it locks the account for the day.
-
Yes: H2T takes up to 45% off Apprentice and Elite list prices as of October 15, 2026. Enter the code before you pay.
12. Conclusion
Legends Trading fits futures traders who accept a payout buffer or cycle target and a 35-40% consistency rule in exchange for a low entry price and an EOD trailing max loss.
It fits less well if you want forex, refunds, uncapped withdrawals or automated trading. Before you buy, browse all prop firm reviews and best prop firms to compare Legends with other futures firms.
