BrightFunded is a Dubai-based proprietary trading firm offering simulated evaluations and funded accounts for CFD traders across forex, indices, commodities, and crypto. It scores 78/100 in H2T Funding’s BrightFunded review.
Key strengths include an 80% default profit split, no consistency rule, no evaluation time limit, and payouts within 24 hours of approval. The company claims over $16 million paid out to traders, but this is not independently verified.
1. BrightFunded verdict: score, pros, cons & who it fits
BrightFunded offers flexible evaluation rules, with no consistency rule, no time limit, and payouts within 24 hours of approval. Its 30-day wait for the first payout, trading restrictions, and limited public verification make the overall picture more mixed than the headline split suggests.
The firm may suit traders who value flexible challenge options, EA and overnight trading, and fast payouts once they unlock. Traders who rely on HFT, news trading on funded accounts, or a regulated firm with an independently verified payout record should compare its terms carefully with other prop firms.
We reviewed BrightFunded’s published rules, pricing, and Help Center documentation, then compared them with trader feedback on Trustpilot, Reddit, and other trading forums.

Pros & Cons Analysis
Pros
- BrightFunded applies no consistency rule to evaluation or funded accounts.
- Evaluations have no time limit, so you can pass at your own pace.
- Three challenge types are available, with account sizes from $5K to $200K.
- The one-time challenge fee starts from around €47–€49 for a $5K account.
- The profit split is 80% by default, 90% with an add-on, and 100% through scaling.
- There is no minimum payout, and requests are processed within about one day.
- You can trade on MT5, cTrader, or DXtrade.
- Expert Advisors, overnight holding, and weekend holding are all allowed.
- The scaling plan grows funded accounts by 30% of their original size and lifts the split to 100% from the third scale-up.
Cons
- BrightFunded is unregulated and holds no license from a financial regulator such as the FCA or CySEC.
- Your first payout unlocks only 30 days after your first funded trade.
- HFT, tick-scalping, grid trading, and arbitrage are prohibited.
- Funded accounts lose profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news; evaluations have no news restriction.
- Copy trading is limited to accounts you own.

- MT5 is unavailable to residents of the US and UAE.
- BrightFunded offers CFDs only across the programs reviewed here, with no stocks, options, or futures.

1.2. Who BrightFunded fits
BrightFunded fits traders who:
- Want no consistency rule and no evaluation time limit.
- Trade forex, indices, commodities, or crypto CFDs on MT5, cTrader, or DXtrade.
- Use standard Expert Advisors (not high-speed bots or AI/HFT tools) or hold trades overnight and over the weekend.
- Value an 80% default split, payouts within 24 hours, and a path to 100% through scaling.
- Can wait 30 days after their first funded trade for the first payout.
BrightFunded is a weaker fit if you:
- Rely on HFT, tick-scalping, grid trading, or arbitrage, which are prohibited.
- Trade high-impact news on funded accounts, since profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of a release is deducted.
- Need MT5 as a US or UAE resident, because it is unavailable in both regions.
- Prioritize a regulated firm or an independently verified payout record.
2. What is BrightFunded?

3. BrightFunded programs & pricing
BrightFunded sells three challenge programs, 1-Step, 2-Step Bright, and 2-Step Classic, each available in six account sizes from $5,000 to $200,000. Fees are one-time and billed in EUR, starting at €47 for a $5K 2-Step Bright account and reaching €997 for a $200K 1-Step or 2-Step Classic account.
3.1. Overview of all challenge programs
All three programs share the same account sizes, platforms, and 80% default profit split, and none has a time limit or a consistency rule. They differ in the number of evaluation phases, the profit targets, and how much loss room you get.
- 1-Step has a single evaluation phase with a 10% profit target, making it the fastest route to a funded account. In exchange, it has the tightest loss limits and a trailing maximum drawdown.
- 2-Step Bright has two phases with 8% and 5% targets, and it is the lowest-priced program. BrightFunded labels it “Best Value.”
- 2-Step Classic has two phases with 10% and 5% targets and the widest loss limits of the three, in exchange for a higher first target.

The full drawdown mechanics are covered in the rules section below.
3.2. Account size & fee table
2-Step Bright is the cheapest program at every account size, while 1-Step and 2-Step Classic share the same base price. BrightFunded marks the $100K account as its most popular size.

Note: Discounted prices reflect BrightFunded’s Autumn Promo as of October , 2026. Discounts change with each campaign and some may cut prices further, so check the latest prop firm promo codes and confirm the final total at checkout before you pay.
Challenge fees are refundable if you placed no trades, bought within 30 days, and requested it via live chat. Confirm with Support first, as the policy page is dated. The paid add-on is a separate fee refund.
BrightFunded also offers five optional add-ons: a 90% profit split, weekly payouts, no minimum trading days, swap-free trading, and a 100% challenge fee refund.
3.3. Which program should you choose?
Choose 1-Step for speed, 2-Step Bright for the lowest fee with a static drawdown, and 2-Step Classic for the most room to absorb losses. The right pick depends on how much your account swings on a normal day, not on which profit target looks easiest.
On a $100K account, the differences look like this:
| Program | Profit target | Daily loss limit | Max loss | Drawdown type | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step | $10,000 | $3,000 | $6,000 | Trailing | €497 |
| 2-Step Bright | $8,000, then $5,000 | $4,000 | $8,000 | Static | €477 |
| 2-Step Classic | $10,000, then $5,000 | $5,000 | $10,000 | Static | €497 |
- Choose 1-Step if you want one target and can stay within a 3% daily loss limit. The trade-off is the trailing drawdown, which rises with your equity until it locks at +6%. A strong run followed by a pullback can breach you at a level a static floor would have tolerated, so it suits short-term traders who keep risk per trade small.
- Choose 2-Step Bright if you want the lowest fee and a static drawdown, and your strategy takes small, repeatable gains. The 8% first target is lower than Classic’s, but so are the loss limits, so a lower target does not automatically make it easier to pass.
- Choose 2-Step Classic if you need the most loss room, with 5% daily and 10% maximum, and can accept a 10% first target and 15% in total across both phases. It fits strategies with wider stops or larger daily swings.
Before you buy, check your own history. If your worst day regularly exceeds 3% of the account, 1-Step is a poor fit, and if it exceeds 4%, 2-Step Bright is too tight.
3.4. Free $1K Challenge
BrightFunded also offers a Free $1K Challenge, a single-phase evaluation on a $1,000 simulated account with no fee, deposit, or card. To claim it, you create an account, complete a short trading survey, and verify your phone number.
BrightFunded limits the number of free challenges claimed per country each day, so availability is not guaranteed.
| Feature | Free $1K Challenge |
|---|---|
| Cost | Free |
| Simulated capital | $1,000 |
| Evaluation phases | 1 |
| Profit target | 10% ($100) |
| Daily loss limit | 3% |
| Max loss | 6% (trailing, locks at +6%) |
| Min. trading days | 5 |
| Default profit split | 80% |
| First payout | 30 days after your first funded trade, then every 14 days |
| Payout cap | None |
| 15% evaluation profit reward | Not eligible |
BrightFunded’s own comparison shows that a 5% gain on the funded $1,000 account pays $40 at the 80% split. This makes the free challenge a low-risk way to test BrightFunded’s platforms and rules before paying for a larger challenge, not a source of meaningful income.
The $1,000 account is small, so if you want to try other no-fee options before buying a challenge, compare them in our list of the best free prop firm challenges.
4. BrightFunded 2.0 trading rules
BrightFunded introduced its current rule set, called BrightFunded 2.0, on April 13, 2026. Traders who bought a challenge before that date stay on the legacy “Original” plan, which uses different drawdown mechanics; the rules below cover the three plans sold today.
4.1. Quick comparison table
| Rule | 2-Step Bright | 2-Step Classic | 1-Step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 target | 8% | 10% | 10% |
| Phase 2 target | 5% | 5% | – |
| Daily loss limit | 4% | 5% | 3% |
| Max drawdown | 8% (static) | 10% (static) | 6% (trailing, locks at +6%) |
| Min. trading days | 5 per phase (10 total) | 5 per phase (10 total) | 5 |
| Default profit split | 80% | 80% | 80% |
| Time limit | None | None | None |
A trading day requires a trade open for at least 60 seconds.
All three plans carry no consistency rule and no maximum evaluation period. The only activity requirement is one executed trade every 30 calendar days.
4.2. How daily loss & max drawdown are calculated
BrightFunded sets its daily reset window between 11:30 PM and 11:59 PM CET. Avoid holding open positions through that window: BrightFunded’s FAQ notes liquidity drops and spreads widen sharply around rollover, which can work against open trades.
At the moment of rollover, BrightFunded records the higher of two values – your account balance (cash from closed trades) or your equity (balance plus floating P&L) – and uses that figure as the base for the next day’s daily loss limit.
Limits are based on the original challenge size; accounts bought before 22 September 2025 use a fixed 5% limit based on balance.

Example on a $100,000 2-Step Classic account (5% daily loss = $5,000):
- Balance sits at $100,000. You hold an open trade showing +$1,000 profit at rollover.
- Balance: $100,000 (unchanged, since the trade hasn’t closed). Equity: $101,000.
- BrightFunded records the higher value: $101,000.
- Your account cannot drop below $96,000 (balance or equity) for the next trading day.
Max drawdown works differently by plan. On 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic, the maximum drawdown is static: it’s fixed as a percentage of the starting balance and never moves. On a $100,000 2-Step Classic account, the floor sits at $90,000 for the life of the account, from evaluation through the funded stage.
On 1-Step, the max drawdown trails your highest equity until it locks. Starting at $100,000, the floor begins at $94,000. If equity climbs to $103,000, the floor rises to $97,000. Once equity reaches $106,000 (6% above the starting balance), the floor locks permanently at $100,000 and stops moving, even if equity keeps rising.
5. BrightFunded restricted countries & eligibility
5.1. Restricted countries list
Per BrightFunded’s Help Center, individuals residing in or holding nationality from the following countries cannot register or purchase a challenge:
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- Pakistan
- Vietnam
Traders from Pakistan who already held an active account before the restriction can continue trading it, but new Pakistan-based registrations aren’t accepted. BrightFunded does not serve anyone under 18, sanctioned individuals, or those with financial-crime or terrorism records.
5.2. Jurisdiction and legal entity
BrightFunded launched in September 2023 under Bright Global FZCO, registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE. The company also operates offices in Amsterdam and Warsaw, a multi-region setup that is common among prop firms serving traders worldwide.
6. BrightFunded funded accounts & growth plan
BrightFunded offers one route to funded trading: pass a 1-Step or 2-Step evaluation, then activate a funded account after KYC and signing the Trader Contract. Funded traders can then grow their accounts through the scaling plan and earn extra rewards through Trade2Earn.
6.1. Funded account at a glance
| Feature | Funded account |
|---|---|
| Entry | Pass a 1-Step or 2-Step evaluation |
| Activation | After KYC, Risk Team review (1–2 business days, up to 4), and signing the Trader Contract |
| Drawdown | Static 8% (2-Step Bright) or 10% (2-Step Classic); 1-Step trails and locks at +6% |
| Default profit split | 80% (90% with add-on, 100% through scaling) |
| First payout | 30 days after your first funded trade |
| Payout frequency | Every 14 days (every 7 days with add-on) |
| Activity requirement | One executed trade every 30 calendar days |
| Max total capital | Up to $400,000 initially; unclear whether scale-ups count toward it. |
Unlike some firms, BrightFunded has no instant funding route, so every funded account starts with an evaluation.
6.2. Scaling plan
Each scale-up adds 30% of the original size. You need four consecutive months, profit in at least two, 10% total profit, at least two payouts, and a break-even balance. The 100% split starts at the third scale-up. Scaling is not automatic; contact Support to request it.
BrightFunded says traders can initially manage up to $400,000 but does not clearly say whether scale-ups count toward that cap.
6.3. Trade2Earn and evaluation profit reward
Trade2Earn is BrightFunded’s loyalty program. BFTs are earned by trading volume, on wins and losses alike, and can be redeemed for extra drawdown room, a lower profit target, a free evaluation, or a boosted payout.
BrightFunded also offers a 15% Evaluation Profit Reward, added to your next funded account balance and withdrawable with your next payout. It applies from 3 January 2026, only to paid challenges, after 10% cumulative growth and a payout request; contact Support to claim it.
BrightFunded’s help pages are inconsistent here. Older guides allow combining growth freely across multiple accounts, while a newer article limits it to a single linked account chain and requires contacting Support.
7. BrightFunded payout & profit split
BrightFunded pays 80% of profits by default on funded accounts, rising to 90% with an add-on and 100% through the scaling plan. Approved requests are processed within 24 hours, but the first payout only unlocks 30 days after your first funded trade.
7.1. Profit split and withdrawal rules
The profit split is the share of profit you keep on each payout request. BrightFunded does not apply a minimum payout, so a balance as low as $0.01 qualifies for a request.
| Item | Published policy |
|---|---|
| Default split | 80/20 |
| 90/10 split | Paid add-on, available at checkout |
| 100/0 split | Reached through the scaling plan |
| Minimum payout | None |
| Payout fees | None from BrightFunded; third-party costs (blockchain gas, bank fees, currency conversion) usually run $5 to $50 per transaction |
7.2. Payout schedule and eligibility
According to BrightFunded’s Help Center, the schedule works as follows:
| Item | Published policy |
|---|---|
| First payout | 30 calendar days after your first trade on the funded account |
| Default frequency | Every 14 days |
| Weekly option | Every 7 days with a paid add-on |
| Activity requirement | One executed trade every 30 calendar days |
7.3. Payout methods and processing
BrightFunded supports two withdrawal channels, and both are processed within 24 hours of approval.
| Item | Published policy |
|---|---|
| Crypto payout | USDC on the ERC-20 network |
| Bank transfer | EUR only |
| Processing time | Within 24 hours of an approved request |
| Reported by traders | Some Trustpilot reviewers report payouts in 4 to 18 hours |
BrightFunded states it has paid out more than $16 million to traders. This is a company-reported figure and has not been independently verified. Trader reviews about payout speed are individual experiences, not confirmed findings.
8. BrightFunded platforms, markets & trading costs
BrightFunded runs challenges and funded accounts on MetaTrader 5 (MT5), cTrader, and DXtrade. All three platforms give access to the same CFD markets, and your location decides which one you can use.
8.1. Platforms and markets
| Platform | Available on | Restrictions | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| MT5 | Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, web | Unavailable to US and UAE citizens or residents, and to restricted countries | Supports Expert Advisors and algorithmic trading |
| cTrader | Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, web | Unavailable to US citizens or residents, and to restricted countries | Built for fast execution and charting |
| DXtrade | iOS, Android, web | None; the only option for US traders | No API or automated trading; no direct TradingView connection |
US traders are limited to DXtrade, while UAE traders can use cTrader or DXtrade but not MT5. BrightFunded allows EAs but does not guarantee that every external EA works in its environment, so test yours on a demo first. EA trades also count toward your daily and total loss limits.
BrightFunded lists more than 100 simulated CFD instruments. Leverage is the same on challenge and funded accounts.
| Market | Instruments | Max leverage | Max exposure on $100K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forex | 45+ majors, minors, and exotics | 1:100 | $10M |
| Indices | Global indices | 1:20 | $2M |
| Commodities | Metals and other commodities | 1:40 | $4M |
| Crypto | 48+ pairs | 1:5 | $500K |
Loss limits, not leverage, are usually what stops a trader. On a $100K account, 10 lots of EUR/USD is about $1M of exposure, a tenth of the cap, yet a 30-pip move against you costs about $3,000, which is the entire daily loss limit on 1-Step.
8.2. Trading costs
| Cost | Published information |
|---|---|
| Forex commission | $3 per lot |
| Indices commission | $0; costs come from the spread |
| Commodities commission | 0.0010% of volume |
| Crypto commission | 0.024% of volume (0.012% per side); about $120 round-turn on a $500K position |
| Spreads | Vary by instrument; compare them on a demo account. Spreads widen around the 11 PM to 12 AM CET rollover. |
| Swaps | Charged on positions held overnight, unless you buy the Swap-Free add-on |
| Triple swap | Wednesday for forex and commodities, Friday for indices |
| Trading hours | Forex Sunday to Friday; crypto also trades on weekends with wider spreads |
| Holding rules | Overnight and weekend positions allowed |
Commissions apply to both challenge and funded accounts, so evaluation costs match live trading. Rollover timing may shift by one hour during daylight saving changes. BrightFunded publishes demo logins for all three platforms in its Help Center, so you can compare execution and spreads before buying.

9. BrightFunded reviews: Trustpilot, Reddit & support
This section summarizes trader feedback from Trustpilot and Reddit, plus BrightFunded’s support channels. User reviews are anecdotal evidence, not independently verified findings.
9.1. Trustpilot
BrightFunded historically held a Trustpilot rating of 4.3 to 4.6 out of 5 from 500+ reviews, with roughly 75% to 82% five-star ratings. In late August 2026, Trustpilot suppressed the displayed TrustScore after a guidelines review removed a number of flagged reviews. The review count remains visible.

Trustpilot’s notice states that fake reviews were removed from the profile. Several independent trader publications also report that BrightFunded disputes negative feedback as fraudulent through Trustpilot’s flagging system. Together, these points lower the value of the visible score as an unfiltered signal.
Positive feedback most often covers fast payouts, usually within 24 hours and in some cases within 4 to 18 hours. A few reviewers also say the CEO personally stepped in to resolve disputed payouts or account breaches.

Negative feedback most often covers account breaches attributed to slippage in volatile sessions, with a small number citing large adverse fills. Other recurring complaints are KYC document rejections, especially for non-EU traders, and spread widening around high-impact news.
Treat the firm’s scale claims the same way. Reported payout totals moved from about $8.2M in a September 2025 press release, to $13M+ on the homepage, to $16M+ on X in September 2026. These are company-reported figures, not independently verified.
9.2. Reddit
Reddit and other trading forums have fewer BrightFunded discussions than Trustpilot. The threads that exist show the same split: praise for fast payouts, and frustration over slippage and KYC verification.
The feedback is too limited to show a broad consensus, so use it to complement BrightFunded’s official rules rather than replace them. BrightFunded introduced its 2.0 rule set on April 13, 2026, and some older posts and reviews describe the legacy “Original” terms. Cross-check any specific rule against the Help Center before you buy.
10. BrightFunded vs. FTMO, FundingPips & The5ers
We compare the $50K accounts of BrightFunded, FTMO, FundingPips, and The5ers using the terms published on each firm’s official website in October 2026. Because BrightFunded sells two 2-Step programs, both are shown.

10.2. Key differences at $50K
- BrightFunded: Has the widest choice of structures at $50K, with a lower-target 2-Step Bright and a wider-limit 2-Step Classic. Both use a static drawdown and have no consistency rule, but the first payout unlocks only 30 days after your first funded trade.
- FTMO: Matches 2-Step Classic on targets and loss limits, and offers the broadest platform choice, including MT4. It no longer accepts US traders.
- FundingPips: Has the lowest minimum trading days (3 per phase) and an 8% first target. Your split depends on the reward cycle you pick, from 60% weekly to 100% monthly, and the 90% On Demand cycle needs a 35% consistency score.
- The5ers: Has the same targets and loss limits as 2-Step Classic, but trades only on MT5 and restricts trading within 2 minutes of high-impact news. Its scaling plan reaches up to $500,000 on High Stakes.
Since all four firms mainly serve forex and CFD traders, you can compare more options in our list of the best forex prop firms or read each firm’s full breakdown in our prop firm reviews.
Note: The limits are similar across these programs, so compare payout timing, split, and news rules, not only the profit target.

11. BrightFunded FAQs
-
BrightFunded is a registered company with a documented history since September 2023 and verifiable trader payouts. It’s unregulated, which is standard for prop firms, so weigh that alongside its young track record before committing large capital.
-
BrightFunded 2.0 offers three plans: 2-Step Bright (8%/5% targets, 4%/8% drawdown), 2-Step Classic (10%/5% targets, 5%/10% drawdown), and 1-Step (10% target, 3%/6% trailing drawdown). No consistency rule applies to any plan.
-
Go to brightfunded.com and click Login / Register in the top-right corner, then enter your credentials on the login screen.
-
The first payout is available 30 days after your first funded trade, then every 14 days. The default split is 80/20, paid via USDC or EUR bank transfer within 24 hours of an approved request.
-
Historically around 4.3 to 4.6 out of 5 from 500+ reviews. As of late August 2026, Trustpilot has suppressed the displayed score after removing a batch of flagged reviews from the profile.
-
Yes. US traders are accepted but limited to the DXtrade platform; MT5 and cTrader aren’t available for US-based accounts.
-
2-Step Bright has tighter targets and drawdown limits (8%/5% targets, 4% daily, 8% max) and a lower fee. 2-Step Classic uses wider limits (10%/5% targets, 5% daily, 10% max) at a slightly higher fee.
-
No. BrightFunded applies no consistency rule to any of its three evaluation plans or to funded accounts.
12. Conclusion
This BrightFunded review points to a flexible path to funded capital, with static or trailing drawdown depending on the plan and a payout cycle that moves fast once it starts, even though the first request takes 30 days to unlock.
The trust picture still needs a closer look, though: Trustpilot’s suppressed rating doesn’t prove the firm is unreliable, but it means the public score deserves less weight than the underlying rules and payout terms.
