Funding is a form of funding that allows you to trade in the market by a brokerage firm or financial institution. Instead of using your own money, you use their capital and share the profits according to an agreed ratio. This allows you to trade on a much larger scale than your personal capital.
No. Funding is not borrowing capital. You do not have to repay the money provided, you just need to comply with the regulations of the brokerage firm and share the profits. If you lose, the loss will be limited according to the regulations and will not affect your pocket money.
Currently, there are three popular forms: (1) Two-stage assessment - passing 2 stages of testing; (2) One-stage assessment - only 1 round of testing; (3) Instant funding - get capital immediately but with stricter regulations. Each form has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Anyone over 18 years old, with basic trading knowledge and skills, and meeting the requirements of the brokerage company can participate. You do not need a financial degree, but you need to demonstrate stable trading ability.
Most brokerage companies divide profits in a ratio of 70/30 and 90/10 in favor of the trader. The ratio is higher or lower depending on the policy of each company and your trading history.
