Education:Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from University of Amsterdam
Experience
My journey in finance started during my undergraduate years, when I became fascinated by how global events could move markets in real time. What began as a side interest in equity trading quickly evolved into a long-term commitment to understanding the mechanisms behind financial systems and capital flows.
Early in my career, I interned at a boutique investment advisory firm in Vancouver, where I supported portfolio analysts in evaluating North American equities. This experience taught me how to translate macroeconomic indicators into actionable investment insights. It also sharpened my analytical thinking and introduced me to the discipline of risk management.
After completing my Master’s in Quantitative Finance at the University of Amsterdam, I joined a European fintech company specializing in AI-powered trading solutions. My role involved building and validating risk models, backtesting algorithmic strategies, and collaborating with data scientists to optimize portfolio performance across multiple asset classes. This was where I developed a strong foundation in derivatives, volatility modeling, and market microstructure.
In addition to my work as a financial analyst, I’ve been a content creator for over 4 years, producing high-quality content across blogs, market insights, and educational platforms, particularly in areas such as prop firm funding, evaluation programs, and trading psychology. I take pride in making complex financial concepts accessible, especially for new traders entering the market.
At H2T Funding, I focus on evaluating proprietary trading firms, reviewing funding models, and supporting traders through well-researched, transparent content. With certifications in CFA (Level III Passed), FRM, and CIMA, I strive to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and clarity in financial communication.
